Kirtan is a simple and sacred singing practice of yoga. Join Chaitanya and Chris-James for a joyful chanting experience.
Chaitanya and Chris-James live a simple and sacred life in Woolgoolga NSW. In a town where half the population hail from India, there is chanting before the sun comes up and kirtan after it goes down. They love to play and sing and visit Woolgoolga’s temples and local kirtan gatherings regularly. They’ll be joined by fellow musician and vocalist Mel for their appearance at Ekam this year. Enjoy the sacred sounds and melodious voices, Om Tara brings to Ekam Yoga Festival in 2018.
Kirtan is a simple and sacred singing practice of yoga. By chanting the Sanskrit names we energise and awaken different aspects of the divine within, and feel the joy and peace at our centre. The songs are sweet and catchy- call and response, and the experience is easy to love!
